Aaron's Favorites

This is not a list of the most popular or most accessed parts of the site, just some pieces that I happen to like.  If it isn't listed here, it's probably a piece of shit.

ACF vs. RNC - the four of us covering the Republican National Convention in 2004.  Listen to some of the interviews and read the blurbs.

The Political Forum - Collection of opinion pieces by some very smart people.  Please feel free to contribute.

Shotglass Full of Freedom - a column I particularly like

A City Trip (Audio) - My radio drama.  I had a lot of fun producing this.  It is the only piece I made that I actually really enjoy listening to repeatedly, largely because of the great actors involved.  You can also read the text version.

Why I Hate the Cold (Audio) - Great piece by Josh.  Cracks me up.

Hu's the President (Audio) - Russ and Aaron updating a classic.  This was a bitch to record, but I like listening to it.

I'm So Lonely - Another column I really like, but in a very different way.

WebDiary of Anne Frank (Audio) - This was a popular favorite and the first radio bit I ever wrote.

Ensconced - Russ's rumination on our friendship.  Also listen to the audio.

Anything Jew Can Do, I Can Jew Better - Jordan's well produced personal narrative.

In the End: A Short Play - This is what I find funny.  You don't have to agree.

One Huge, Bad Apple - Another column I like.  This came out the day that the New York Times first printed the Abu Ghraib story.  The story was sent to me a few days before by a friend who saw it reported in a British paper.

The About Section - I like the About section.

Iraq Quiz- A lot has happened since the summer of 2004, but this is where we were at then.  An Iraq Quiz Part II should be on the way.
