August 27th, 2004 ACF in NYC: FU, RNC! For the next few days, this space will be dedicated to valuable resources for those wishing to join in the festivities of the Republican National Convention in New York City. The A Crowded Fire Radio crew will put aside its political differences and join together in protesting and reporting on the RNC. Check back sometime next week for the material derived from this massive event. The police will be cracking down and it is important to be smart and safe. Practice reaching quickly for your camera - you never know when a baton is going to come out and oppress someone's skull. REPORT ANY ILLEGAL POLICE ACTIVITY. Taking part in disruptions at these events put you at a high risk for arrest, so make sure you know what you are doing.
